Greenfest 2013
We had a fantastic day at Greenfest yesterday, met several hundred people, and did our club proud. I suspect the turnout at our next several public star parties will be above average, and I would expect our membership will grow as a result.
Such outreach events cannot be done without folks stepping up and giving their precious time, and I am grateful to all who volunteered to help::
Bob Prokop (who did most of the organizing work), Wayne Baggett, Chris Miskiewicz, and Dave Tillman, who helped setup, and who spent a good bit of the day at the HAL table, and Jim Johnson, for staffing the table for a good bit of the afternoon.
We had several Solar telescopes setup on the Quad, which were brought and were staffed by:
