Our (Astronomical Society of Greenbelt) first lecture of the 2008-9 season will be given by Dr. John Mather, Nobel Prize winning physicist at the Goddard Space Flight Center. His talk is titled, "From the big bang to the Nobel Prize and on to the James Webb Space Telescope". The meeting is Thursday, September 25, 2008 at 7:30 PM at the Howard B. Owens Science Center, 9601 Greenbelt Rd., Lanham, MD. All are welcome.
